I don't think the dialogue is bad though. I wish it was more constructive at times.  Not that anyone gets convinced but perhaps we can gain some insight. I wish we had a few more "wow, I see what you are talking about" even while we think generally the other person is wrong. But you know ..we are Democrats, we will bicker all the way to the polls as we always do.  But we will win.  They don't allow dissent in the Republican party.
