understood, but the door's already been opened. I don't see how we could simply make faith-based programs disappear. At this point, the best move would seem to be putting in place a proper set of standards and regulation to make sure that a president quayle couldn't mess with it in the future.
By the way, considering I've dealt with some religious organizations that help the needy as part of my job, I don't think faith-based funding is a bad idea. They usually do tremendous work.
